In this workshop, we will spend the day creating water-based monotypes. The process involves painting or drawing onto a plexiglass sheet and transferring the image onto paper using an etching press. This printmaking process results in unique prints that cannot be replicated.

Courtney will share tips and tricks to achieve beautiful and vibrant monotypes. We will begin the class with quick experiments to showcase the varied visual possibilities of the medium. Participants will spend most of the day working on their own designs. They can treat the day as a time for experimentation or come with a planned project.
