Biography

Charlene Tan studied History and Theory of Contemporary Art, with a specialization in New Genres, at the San Francisco Art Institute. Her work has been exhibited at the Museum of Craft and Design and the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, both in San Francisco, and at the Marin Headlands Center for the Arts, where she was an artist-in-residence. Her work is in the permanent collection of the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive (BAMPFA). The artist lives and works in San Francisco, CA.
